Built on textile heritage
Textile Innovations was formed in 2007 by David Holdsworth, a leading figure of industry in Calderdale.
David hails from the well-known Holdsworth family behind John Holdsworth & Company who have six generations of success working in textiles in Calderdale, West Yorkshire.
He formed the new company, Textile Innovations, in 2007 following the sale of the family business since when it has gone from strength to strength.
We supply materials and products, both locally and globally, offering a full supply chain service including produce development, testing, manufacture, quality assurance and design registration.
Supported by a team of experts in import, export, technical testing, quality assurance, foreign exchange, logistics, IT, marketing and PR, we ensure a cross section of customer requirements are smoothly managed.
Our methods are built on the fundamental principles in which David grew up developing agile manufacturing in textiles, extending his knowledge to create a simplistic yet all-embracing and successful business model.

David is the chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) in Calderdale, the largest organisation representing British business, with over 220,000 members; he also stands on the West Yorkshire regional committee, representing over 5,000 local SMEs.
