Artificial Leather (Also known as False Leather, Faux Leather, Synthetic Leather)
A Synthetic Leather cloth available from Textile Innovations Ltd, manufactured using PVC and PU polymers in a number of different specifications. Optionally available Phthalate-free, Flame-retardant and with Anti-bacterial finish.

BS 5852: 1979 Part 1 ignition source 0 & 1: (Ignition by smoker’s materials of upholstered composites for seating).

BS 5852: 2006 Clause 11 Upholstery Composite, wooden crib test. Source 5 (CRIB 5)
BS 7176: 2007 Predictive test for Low Hazard: non-domestic seating.
BS EN 1021-1: 2006 Resistance to ignition source: smouldering cigarette
BS EN 1021-2: 2006 Resistance to ignition source: match flame equivalent
